Registration

To secure a classroom seat, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is mandatory.
The full balance of the tuition fee needs to be settled before the first day of class.
Please note that the tuition cost doesn't cover additional materials like books.

Registration by the specified date is essential to benefit from Early Bird pricing.
Our Early Bird discount doesn't cover any extra materials fees.
Our Early Bird discount may not be combined with other promotions or discounts.

After the third class, there is a late fee of 10% on the total amount of unpaid tuition.
A credit card authorization will be required to guarantee future tuition payments.

Withdrawing by the specified withdrawal date allows for a full refund, excluding the $200 deposit which is non-refundable.
Should you wish to switch your registered class, it is permissible provided there is seat availability in the desired class.
If class switches result in overpayment, a credit will be provided. Conversely, any balance must be settled immediately.
Withdrawal during the session leads to a refund based on the leftover classes, calculated at the standard tuition rate.
Students causing disturbances or displaying disrespect towards peers or staff will be terminated from the session. Refunds in such cases will be based on the leftover classes, using the standard, non-discounted tuition rate.

Math Classes: For Monday classes, provide cancellation notice by 7pm the previous Friday. Otherwise, please notify us 48 hours in advance. Failing to do so will lead to forfeiting any makeup classes and tuition charges for that day.
Group English Language Arts (ELA) Classes:No makeup classes are offered.
One-on-One Private Tutoring: As with math classes, for Monday sessions, the deadline is 7pm on the previous Friday, and in other cases, a 48-hour notice is essential. Failing to adhere to this will result in no makeup classes and tuition charges for that day.

In case of adverse weather conditions leading to Merit Academy's closure, classes scheduled for that day will be rearranged at the earliest convenience. It's advisable to reach out to us for class confirmations during inclement weather, especially since the center might still be operational even if other schools aren't.

The following are the holidays observed by Merit Academy: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; and Christmas.
Classes will continue as usual on other holidays unless stated otherwise. For holidays not on the list, the usual cancellation policy applies.
